The Path of The Raven
An Animal Spirit & Archetype to work with for Shadow Work & Shadow Mastery

Healing, Clearing, Awareness, & Empowerment…shape shifting.

Shapeshifting and Creation are two key energies of Raven Medicine.

And that is exactly what begins to happen as you learn to integrate and master your shadow.

You are literally shape shifting into something else, and through that shift, you begin to create an entirely new reality.

First the work happens energetically and in the Akash.

Then you start to experience all sorts of synchronicities happening in your physical and spiritual worlds.
You will find people changing their responses and their behaviors towards you.
Abundance starts to drop into your life, while other things start to drop out.

You become this “new” person.
You release yourself from trauma and limitations.
You walk away from patterns of abuse or conditioning.
You begin to see which relationships are no longer contributing to your growth.
You leave situations you are unhappy in, even ones you’ve been stuck in for years. You start to say yes to more of the things you have always wanted to do, but maybe never had the courage, confidence, or support before.

Shapeshifting at its finest.

Lore and belief around the Raven can be contradictory.
Raven can represent both birth and death.

Throughout a shadow integration process you learn how to work with both energies in very powerful ways.

In this space it is no longer this or that, black or white, right or wrong.

When the shadows are released it becomes “What else is possible?” “What else am I capable of?” “What else can I create?”

Raven Lore & History

The Norse god Odin had two Ravens who were his messengers.
Their names Hugin and Munin stood for memory and thought- Interesting.
There is a lot of imprinting, and energetic coding within our memory and our thoughts and beliefs.
Shadow work isn’t just about looking at your “negative” emotions and heartbreaks.
A powerful shadow work mastery process entails clearing out energetic imprints and patterns and codes with the mind, body, soul, and energy.

Odin also shapeshifted into a Raven as well.
This symbolized the idea that the raven is a messenger of the great spiritual realm.

This is where we will begin to venture into, as we start down our first pathway inside the Wayward Path Work program.

I live my life paying attention to the unknown realm, and now I guide others how to navigate both the seen and unseen world.
The human and the spirit.
The magic and the mundane.

Walking in both realms, you do become a walking contradiction.
And that’s actually OK!

We also learn how to merge and integrate these realms together, so that they are no longer separate, and it all works together to support you.

It is commonly believed throughout history that the raven was an omen and not always a good one. In the middle ages, it was believed that the raven foretold of death.

To step into shadow mastery, we must let old outdated limited aspects of ourselves go. That part of you has to be released, if you want to shapeshift into something different.

Raven is often seen being honored on totem poles, and reflect their tales of mysticism.

You are the mystic. This path- this is the path of the mystic.

Raven is a powerful archetype and animal spirit to work with to help you shapeshift your life or your state of being.

Transformation and shape-shifting happens starting NOW.

We aren’t waiting.
We aren’t taking our time.
Pretend you are out of time. The time is now.

The more you immerse yourself in this experience (specifically your OWN experience of shadow work and self mastery), the more powerful your healing, your intuition, and your manifestations will be.

Ravens are great vocalizers, and they can be taught to speak.

On a Shadow Mastery journey, you teach yourself to speak.
You gain the confidence to speak your truth more than ever before.
You also learn to express and speak your love more clearly.
You speak your boundaries.
You speak your ideas into creation.
You.being.to.consciously.create. (Inset Tyler Durden voice here for some reason).

You learn what it means to live intentionally, with and on purpose.

Ravens are also considered to be playful and will bring you treasure.
Another symbol of a shadow mastery journey- where we begin to spin our limitations and past stories into treasure and gold. They are no longer our defining story, and they become our lesson, and a place where we found great strength within ourselves.

Raven’s are also great tool users.
You will learn many spiritual and practical tools along a shadow mastery journey. You will also learn when, where, and how to powerfully use these tools in your everyday life.

Ravens are not intimidated by others and are not easy prey.
This speaks to the empowerment, strength, and solid foundation you build throughout a shadow mastery journey.

“They teach you how to stir the magic of life without fear.” - Animal-Speak, by Ted Andrews.

Raven teaches us how to go into the void, and stir up the energies we need to manifest something into physical reality.

According to Ted Andrews- “Raven activates the energy of magic, linking it to your will and intention. If raven has come into your life, expect magic.”

Well, clearly raven is here my friends. And magic is what you will get.

You hear me harp on you’s all the time that your beliefs, perspectives,  and intentions will change your entire world!

Raven walks with us as we learn to bring out our own inner Magician.

The Magician teaches us the lesson that: our thoughts create our reality.
That our perception of the world changes that reality.
The Magician is the master of space and time.

This is an Archetype to work with when you are ready for change and transformation.

The Magician walks between the material and the spiritual realms.- there it is again. (We will work with both Owl and Eagle for this pathway as well).

The Magician helps us to recognize all the tools available to us, and how to bring them all together to manifest thought into matter, just like the raven.

“Raven teaches us how to go into the dark and bring forth the light. With each trip in, we develop the ability to bring more light out. This is creation.” - Animal-Speak, Ted Andrews

UM VIBES.
Are you on board yet?
Just in case you aren’t, we’ve still got Eagle, Spider, and Owl to talk about! Stay tuned!
